Description
This Ogee Gutter Union Bracket in Brown ROG02B to join together two sections of 115mm Ogee Gutter. They are also commonly referred to as joiners. Unions should be fixed to the fascia board through the pre-formed screw holes.
The gutter is clipped into place, the back edge first, then pull the front edge gently down into position until the clip snaps into place. The waterproof seal is achieved by the downward pressure of the clips compressing the small rubber seal evenly around the outside of the gutter. On the inside of each fitting are two clearly marked insertion lines. During installation, the gutter should be lined up with these marks to ensure that there is sufficient room for each length to expand and contract, which is a naturally occurring feature of all PVC Gutter systems throughout the year. As used by Regal, Victory, ABI, Atlas, Swift and others.
All gutter seals should be lubricated with silicon spray lubricant, both to facilitate this thermal movement and to ensure an easy fit.
